The first edition of the book Environmental transport phenomena, written by Eduardo Sáez, and James C. Baygents, consists of eight chapters, with several examples, illustrations, and an adequate number of exercise problems included at the end of each chapter. The book has 244 pages, the size of which is quite enough to cover the author’s targeted materials and objectives. I praise the authors for taking on such an enormous task of merging information from a wide variety of sources for students and researchers.
