Many carbonate reservoirs are present in China's Tarim Basin. The storage spaces are mostly secondary and about 99% of the porosity is from fractures and dissolution caves or holes. Fractures represent both the storage space and migration channels of hydrocarbon fluids. Therefore predicting fracture development is a challenge that confronts us in this area.
