Abstract

A friend of mine was invited to be among a small group of aspiring leaders who were to give a presentation to management. While the other participants each highlighted their most significant success, he chose to explain how his department had come to lose a major client. You can guess which presentation provided the most valuable information to the company leadership. Although we have more to learn from our failures than our successes, the latter get shared much more often than the former.
