Abstract

The most common applications of spectral decomposition in seismic interpretation have been to delineate and visualize stratigraphic features and as a direct hydrocarbon indicator. In this study, we applied spectral decomposition to time-lapse seismic interpretation. We used the multi-component seismic data acquired by the Reservoir Char-acterization Project of Colorado School of Mines at Rulison Field in 2003, 2004, and 2006.
