More than 10 countries were represented by the 91 delegates (a diverse group of geophysicists, geologists, and engineers affiliated with oil companies, service companies, universities and government institutions) attending the SEG Summer Research Workshop on Characterization of Fractured Reservoirs, held 1–5 August in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
