In October 2000, we coordinated an interactive workshop on gravity and magnetics over the Internet that drew more than 100 participants to 12 sites in Australia, Finland, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. However, we did not expect that we would gain information beyond the technical material discussed in the workshop. A big lesson was that an interactive workshop on the Internet can be done successfully. Even time zones are not an issue if you really want to participate. Be warned, though, that communication is different in that environment and that converting files from one format to another...
