A sports analyst was asked to explain why Wayne Gretzky was such a great hockey superstar. He said that it was because Gretzky did not play the puck where it was, but where it was going to be. He had an intuitive sense that let him anticipate action in the midst of a game moving at lightning speed. He and the puck arrived at the same place at the same time ahead of the competition. He had the ability to converge with the future.
