Nineteen ninety three marks the 40th anniversary of the birth of the KEGS. As the founding President, I have been asked to make a few remarks appropriate to the occasion. A 40th anniversary is traditionally associated with the ruby—but for KEGS it should, more appropriately, be the diamond, for that is the only game in town for Canadian mineral explorationists at the present time.
