The Seismological Society of America (SSA) topical conference, Future Directions for Physics‐Based Ground Motion Modeling, was held in Vancouver, Canada, on 10–13 October 2023, co‐sponsored by the Seismological Society of Japan and co‐chaired by Annemarie Baltay of the U.S. Geological Survey and Hiroshi Kawase of Kyoto University.
