The Seismological Society of America (SSA) has appointed P. Martin Mai as editor‐in‐chief of the Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America (BSSA), the premier journal of advanced research in earthquake seismology and related disciplines.
Mai, a professor of geophysics in the Earth Science and Engineering program of the Physical Sciences and Engineering Division at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), joined KAUST in June 2009 as a founding faculty member.
