SSA announced the election results from the 8 January 2021 election, conducted by YesElections, formerly known as Election America.
Three new members will join the board for 3 yr terms, and one board member was re‐elected to a second term:
Karen Fischer, Brown University
Zhigang Peng, Georgia Institute of Technology
Xyoli Pérez‐Campos, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México
Carl Tape, University of Alaska Fairbanks
Their terms will begin on 13 April 2021, and they will join these continuing board members for the 2021–2022 year:

Susan Bilek, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology
