After the publication of Pinet et al. (2020), it was brought to the attention of the authors that Normandeau et al. (2015) also speculated about the possibility of Quaternary fault motion along the Tadoussac segment of the St‐Laurent fault. Normandeau et al. (2015) based their interpretation on the absence of fan‐like deposits at the base of the canyons located in the footwall of the fault. Pinet and coauthors were unaware of this interpretation, and the fact that this study was not properly referenced only reflects this unfamiliarity.
