The Seismological Society of America (SSA) has issued a new Code of Conduct to help ensure that all members of the community feel safe and welcome at SSA.

The code, developed under the guidance of Sherry Marts, Ph.D., was unanimously adopted by the Board of Directors earlier this year and made effective May 2018. It outlines acceptable and unacceptable behavior, what to do if someone experiences or witnesses the latter, and possible consequences of violations. Questions, concerns, or comments about the code should be directed to SSA Executive Director.
