It has been almost two years since I wrote my first Seismological Research Letters (SRL) column, titled “Hello from the New Editor of SRL.” Being the editor-in-chief (EIC) of SRL is indeed time consuming, as others warned me, and I am still learning to be more efficient at handling manuscripts.
