The 85th annual meeting of the Eastern Section of the Seismological Society of America (ES‐SSA) was held on 6–8 October 2013 at the Manoir Richelieu in La Malbaie, Quebec, Canada. The meeting was hosted by Natural Resources Canada and Université Laval. The field trip, Earthquakes and faults of the Charlevoix Impact Structure, involved 45 participants and examined geological, seismological, geotechnical, and historical characteristics of the Charlevoix region.
