Impact of Earthquakes on the Central USA, a recent report from the Mid-America Earthquake Center at the University of Illinois, is the result of a large and comprehensive earthquake consequence assessment projects funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). It includes earthquake impact assessments for the eight central U.S. states, and lists damage and other consequences to the built environment as well as social and economic impacts.
