Quanterra, Inc., a Kinemetrics, Inc. subsidiary, announced the new Q330 High-Resolution broadband data acquisition system (or simply Q330HR) at the December AGU meeting in San Francisco, California. The Q330HR represents a new standard for ultrahigh-resolution recording, at low power. The Q330HR's typical dynamic range is 148 dB, at power consumption < 2 W; it includes recording media that store up to 20 Gb of ready-to-use data.
