The SeisSchool Norway project aims in general at creating interest in science, particularly in geoscience and seismology, among high school students. Similar projects have been initiated in several other countries under the general umbrella of EduSeis. Few of them appear to have been very successful and reasons appear to be (1) lack of professional seismic equipment installed on school premises and (2) data access and analysis tools remain clumsy.
