This year SSA members will be asked to vote to restate and modernize the Society's Articles of Incorporation. The ballot to vote on this question will be on the back of the ballot for directors.

Articles of Incorporation are the documents filed with the California Secretary of State that govern SSA's nonprofit tax status. The current Articles on file with the State are outdated, use archaic language (that may not pass current legal standards), contain at least one error, and contradict the current SSA Bylaws.
