Featuring four independent 24-bit A/D converters, the PAR4CH data acquisition system achieves 23-bit true single-sample accuracy at a 10Hz sample rate and 19 bits at 1 kHz. The individual sigma delta A/D converter per channel architecture results in excellent system performance with no crosstalk or settling problems, as is common in multiplexed systems.
Using the standard PC parallel port, the PAR4CH easily connects to laptop and desktop computers without having to open the PC. Furthermore, the PAR4CH system includes its own large 2 Mb data memory buffer to ensure that no data is lost during long PC or network latencies....
