It was déjà vu all over again at the 2001 Annual Meeting of the SSA from April 17-21,2001, in San Francisco, California. The meeting, which was hosted by the U.S. Geological Survey and the Geophysics Department and the John A. Blume Engineering Center of Stanford University, coincided with the 95th anniversary of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire.
