The Seismological Society of America is the preeminent professional organization representing those who work in earthquake science and allied professions. The SSA has long been known for its outstanding journal the Bulletin, and more recently for SRL, with broad-interest articles in seismology. The annual SSA meeting provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, which is crucial for building collaboration and new research.
