Travel times and amplitudes of body waves in lunar models have been computed. The effect of a low-velocity zone upon the travel times and amplitudes of body waves is likely to be small unless the condition for the existence of a shadow zone at short to moderate epicentral distances is nearly satisfied. The PKP phase from a possible central core of the moon is likely to have a large amplitude in the area opposite to the epicenter.
