Long strides are now being made in gathering data upon the magnitude and type of earthquake motions, and more comprehensive analyses are being made upon the effect of earthquakes upon various types of structures, so that in the future we may anticipate having much more information upon which to promulgate proper rates to be charged for earthquake insurance.
