In a recent article “Do directionality effects influence expected damage? A case study of the 2017 central Mexico earthquake,” Pinzón et al. (2018) provided an interesting analysis of a building that collapsed in Mexico City during the 19 September 2017 7.1 central Mexico earthquake. According to Pinzón et al.
