The Groningen Gas Field of the Netherlands is one of the few natural gas fields in Europe. Induced seismicity associated with the gas field has been the subject of many SRL papers. In this issue, Gulia discusses temporal and spatial variations in b-value for the Groningen Gas Field and their implications for seismic hazard. Although not focused on the Groningen area, there are also several other papers in this issue discussing aspects of induced seismicity.
