An east-facing view along the grassy back of Rubha nam Brathairean (Brothers’ Point), Trotternish Peninsula, Isle of Skye. The rocks of the Great Estuarine Group from near this iconic point have yielded many vertebrate fossils. Photo taken by Steve Brusatte while prospecting for additional Middle Jurassic fossils along the coast. The most recent find from this locality is described in Scottish Journal of Geology, 54, 1–12.
