Introducing Sea Level Change, by Alastair Dawson, is the latest in the Introducing Earth and Environmental Sciences series (there are now 14 books) produced by Dunedin Press. The series is intended to appeal to university students and interested non-specialists looking for an accessible introduction to the topic. Given the rapid advances in understanding past, present and future sea-level change in recent years, a new book by an expert in his field is very welcome.
