Abstract

The Audignon anticline is one of the most studied folds of Aquitaine [southwestern France]. Up to now the stratigraphy has commonly been based on the lithology and macrofauna. The study of microfaunas and microfacies has contributed to the establishment and refinement of the stratigraphic series of the Albian, Cenomanian, and Turonian [Cretaceous], and to their correlation with those of Roquefort-des-Landes.
