Abstract
Describes a new genus and species of coral from Senonian (Cretaceous) sandy and glauconitic limestones north of Padern in Aude, France--Elasmosmilia padernensis. The upper Santonian age of the limestones is established by the presence of Phyllosmilia complanata.
