Abstract

Describes three reptiles (Palaeolacerta bavariscus n.g. n.sp., Bavarisaurus macrodactylus, and Broilisaurus schroederi) from upper Jurassic lithographic limestones of Bavaria, Germany. They are lower Portlandian in age, and exhibit affinities with the living families Iguanidae, Gekkonidae, and Lacertidae.
