Jurassic outcrops in the Subbetic zone of the Alcala de los Gazules region, northern Cadiz, Spain, are nearly always in unconformable contact with Triassic formations and are often extensively dislocated. A complete sequence from Liassic to Cretaceous has been established, nevertheless.
