The trilobite Acastella rouaulti, the only representative of the Phacopacea yet known in the lower Siegenian (Devonian) Dalmanella monnieri sandstone of the Armorican massif, France, is redescribed on the basis of several specimens found in a better state of preservation than previously described specimens.
