Abstract
Migmatites of deep-seated origin are exposed in the Cadi gorges which cut deeply into the south flank of the Canigou massif. Observations made in the gorge area during a visit by the eastern Pyrenees field excursion of the Societe Geologique de France in September 1958 are reported.
