Abstract

The migmatitic areas of the Alsatian flank of the central Vosges massif have been mapped geologically. The Kaysersberg facies consists of banded gneisses and gneissic granites, with occasional basic inclusions. The more acid facies of the Trois-Epis, Alspach, and Ribeauville migmatites are described; these appear to be younger.
