Abstract
Combined geologic and geophysical (electrical resistivity) surveys in the dry valley of Sacy, Yonne, France, led to the discovery of two subsurface aquifers, one in the eluvial cover, the other in deeply weathered Rauracian (Jurassic) limestone. This type of exploration is considered suitable for ground-water investigations in the upper Jurassic plateaus of the Paris basin.
