Abstract
Describes a series of Cretaceous to Tertiary formations overturned to the south at the confluence of the Var and Esteron rivers (southeast France) in front of the sub-Alpine Caussols nappe. Presence of this series is additional proof of the Alpine direction of crustal dislocation in the region.
