Abstract

Outlines the middle and upper Jurassic history of the Morvan-Vosges strait in the region between Neufchateau (Vosges) and Chatillon-sur-Seine (Cote-d'Or), France, as deduced from vertical and horizontal variations in facies. Tectonic activity in the Vosges and Morvan massifs does not seem to have been simultaneous.
