Abstract

Describes the Miocene and Cretaceous series traversed by a boring at El Krachem in the high plateau region of Algeria, and compares them with beds of the Tellian facies to the north and with those of the Atlas ranges to the south. The microfaunas (including one new ostracod and several new foraminifers) of the series are described.
