Abstract

Describes seven species of the gastropod Nerinea--six Aptian, one doubtfully Albian (Cretaceous)--from the Hodna mountains in the vicinity of Ampere, Constantine, Algeria. Several have not heretofore been reported from north Africa. The cavities in these specimens, which are mostly internal molds, are filled with limestone containing a Miliola microfauna.
