Describes Belemnites (Hibolites?) escragnollensis n.sp. from upper Neocomian (Cretaceous) deposits of Escragnolles, Alpes-Maritimes, France. It is characterized by the presence of an epirostrum, an unusual feature in Cretaceous belemnites, though common in Liassic forms.
