Abstract
Describes ammonites from Coniacian (Cretaceous) deposits of the eastern cordilleran region of Colombia, and discusses the stratigraphic relations of Cretaceous formations along the cordillera on the basis of included faunas. Descriptions of new species of the new subgenus Donjuaniceras and the new genus Subprionotropis are included.
