Abstract

North of Texenna, Algeria, Albian-Aptian (Cretaceous) Flysch deposits transgressively overlie Paleozoic crystalline basement rocks of the Little Kabylia massif. South of Texenna crystalline basement rocks are thrust over the Flysch. Dislocation took place prior to deposition of Numidian deposits (probably Oligocene).
