The Aouli-Mibladen window is composed of several plutons (granodiorite, main granite and two muscovitized granites) emplaced within a metasedimentary series. Two stages of deformation are recognized: D1 dominated by flattening originated during the intrusion of muscovitized granites. D2 produced crenulation cleavage around the main granite whose emplacement gave rise to a LP-HT contact aureole. The muscovitized granites have generated an identical contact aureole, now retrogressed. The geological evolution of the whole area is a continuous evolution characterized by plutonism rather than thrust-tectonics. The geodynamic context is that of an orogenic foreland.
