We compare informations given by the mean velocity obtained by Darcy's law and by 14 C values for a south to north-west stream line in the Albian confined aquifer south of Paris. A fit between both of them is obtained in the southern area. Next to Paris one has also included the additional effect of the important exploitation of the aquifer over the last 150 years. The results suggest a continuous recharge of the confined section of the Albian aquifer, considered in our study, since about 30,000 years.
