Abstract

The convergence of biological and sedimentary data, supported by five new radiocarbon dates, allows to describe the Holocene relative rise in sea level along the banks of a Mediterranean lagoon. The marine transgression interfers with uplift and pulses of terrigenous deposition in the evolution of the coastline.
