Abstract

Describes textural modifications in turbidity current deposits intercalated in the upper Jurassic black pelagic limestone sequence of the Morcles nappe in Haute-Savoie, France, with reference to the degree of sorting and graded bedding developed in the clastic sediments along the inferred main direction of current flow down the northwest slope of the depositional basin.
