Abstract
Oatman epithermal gold deposit in Northwest Arizona. Pervasive argillic and wall-rock phyllic and propylitic alteration. Discrimination of these zones rests on identification of the dominant alteration minerals; alunite, illite (mica), and chlorite.--Modified journal abstract.
