Abstract
With reference to discussion by I. M. Paltridge (for reference, see this Bibliography Vol. 32, No. 5, 02 E68-04514), it is held that the mineralization is younger than the host rock and younger than brecciation. Ore has replaced comparable volumes of two formations of different age. The geometrical configuration of the ore body is that of a cluster of pipes. These facts are not consistent with Paltridge's suggestion that the deposit is of submarine-exhalative origin.
