Abstract

The occurrence of sulfides in the fluorspar deposits has been noted previously. This paper presents details of occurrence that may define factors that could have influenced the nature and sites of deposition. The physical relationships of sulfide deposits to structure and indicated routes of solution movement are described. Host rock composition and sources of indigenous reduced sulfur are discussed. The contents of the paper are based on a large number of occurrences, many of which are no longer available for study.
